Bio: Thrakian are a Bulgaria-born, Wales-based sludge metal band, and their debut album The Way (out June 24 via Aonair Records) blends dense, atmospheric heaviness with themes of displacement, identity, and ancient philosophy.

Frontman Atanas (guitar and vocals) and Matt Strangis (bass guitar) are also members of the acclaimed doom metal band Pantheist, bringing additional depth and experience to Thrakian's expansive sound. The Way is a work born of ancient philosophies, personal upheaval, and a tumultuous journey toward rebuilding identity in a new land. Recorded at Longwave and Woodcroft Audio Studios by Tim Vincent.
