You Can’t Outrun What You Already Know This Track Hits Where It Hurts
Las Vegas artist Richie Cross steps forward with “My Right Two Feathers,” a hard-hitting alt rock and punk rock release that digs deep into instinct, identity, and the internal battles most people try to ignore.
Set against driving guitars and a relentless rhythm section, the track carries a constant sense of tension, like something just beneath the surface is waiting to break through. Cross’s baritone vocal delivery adds weight to every line, pulling the listener into a narrative about resisting truth, avoiding change, and ultimately facing what can’t be escaped.
The phrase “my right two feathers” works as a striking metaphor throughout the song, representing that inner voice, that gut instinct, or even a higher calling that refuses to stay quiet. The recurring imagery of running, hiding, and “ducking for cover” builds a sense of urgency, while lines like “you can’t outrun what you already know” land with undeniable impact.
There’s also a subtle spiritual thread woven in, with references like Jonah running from his path, reinforcing the idea that avoidance only delays the inevitable. By the time the track reaches its final moments, that resistance starts to crack, shifting from fear into confrontation.
For fans of Rise Against, Bring Me The Horizon, and A Day To Remember, this release hits that same nerve between aggression and introspection. It’s not just about pushing back against the world, it’s about facing yourself when it matters most.
With “My Right Two Feathers,” Richie Cross continues building toward his upcoming album Bridging The Gap, showing a sharper, more focused edge while expanding the emotional scope of his sound.

Biography
Richie Cross is a U.S.-based punk and alternative rock artist whose music blends raw intensity, melodic edge, and introspective storytelling. Influenced by classic and modern punk, alt-rock, and post-hardcore, his sound pairs driving guitars and urgent rhythms with themes of awareness, resistance, and personal truth.
After stepping away from music earlier in life, Richie returned with renewed focus, channeling years of reflection into songs that confront disconnection, control, and the struggle to remain human in an increasingly numbing world. His writing goes beyond surface-level rebellion, exploring the emotional and psychological cost of conformity, identity erosion, and the quiet fight to stay conscious and present.
Between 2024 and 2026, he re-established himself through a steady release cycle, earning international support from radio stations, playlists, blogs, and music journalists across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. His single “60 Miles An Hour” gained particular attention for its sense of movement and freedom. He is now signed to SODEH Records.
Richie is currently working on his upcoming full-length album Bridging The Gap, set for release on August 7, 2026. The project expands his punk and alt-rock foundation with heavier textures and deeper emotional range, exploring the space between survival and surrender, illusion and clarity, and autopilot living versus conscious choice.
