Few words about the band

Black Path is a melodic / technical death metal band from Athens.

They made their official debut in 2011 with the release of their single “Bloodshed,” followed by “Born Underground” in 2012. These two singles earned them the Metal Hammer & Heavy Metal “Pick of the Month” recognition.

In 2013, they released their EP “Dominion In Pain”, followed by their first full-length album, “Final Act: Martyr” in 2017.

In 2018, they covered “Slaughter of the Soul” by At the Gates, and their last release was “Barren Conflagration” in 2021. The production and mixing of “Barren Conflagration” were done by John Kaneris, while the mastering was handled by Buster Odeholm at Odeholm Audio in Sweden (Vildhjarta, Humanity’s Last Breath, etc.).

They have also filmed two music videos for their tracks: “Ministry of Sin” and “Blackened Requiem” in 2014 and 2017.

The band has been active since 2011, with some of their most notable live performances taking place in 2017, where they supported Hate (POL) and later the same year, Ulcerate (NZ).

Nowdays, in 2025, the band has completed the new album "Of Paint and Ash" that will be released on June. The band recently revealed two singles, first “Endless Madness“ and "Evermore".
