HALOCRAFT: Greek post rockers return with their double LP release. "The Sky Will Remember" & To Leave a Single Wolf Alive" out now!

Biography

Halocraft were formed in 2014 in Giannitsa (Northern Greece). The band from the beginning of its course makes sure to give an atmospheric and intensely experimental sound. They like to integrate elements of popular genres so the structure of their tracks differs a lot from the usual post rock framework. They want to create a gateway through which people, who would not otherwise listen to this kind of music, can explore it and why not love it. They draw influences from a wide range of music but their main body of music comes from post rock bands such as We Lost the SeaExplosions in the SkyGod is an Astronaut and many more. They are not afraid to add elements usually found in odd genres and in general they like to play with their sound without prejudice and taboos.

They started with two EPs, “The City in Your Eyes” (2016), and “Chains for The Sea” (2017). According to them, they were two “clearly experimental EPs” in which they managed to find their own personal sound.

A natural progression of this sound was their debut LP “Chains For The Sea“, which was released in November 2018. On November 5, 2021 they released their second themed album digitally on all online platforms entitled, “A Mother to Scare Away the Darkness“.

Halocraft conducted a European tour in 2019. They visited landmark cities such as Berlin, London, Prague, Prague, Warsaw, Vienna, Lille, Sofia and many more. They have participated in the Eratos Music Fest in Rennes, France. Great moments are their double appearances with Midas Fall and Antimatter and they are especially proud to have played with the unsurpassed Panx Romana. Finally, they have performed at Street Mode Fest, Mammoth Fest and Wrong Fest along with Viagra Boys, Black Midi, Messa, 1000Mods, V.I.C., Tuber and Their Methlab.

Nowdays, on February 2025 the band has stepped forward once again, releasing two new LPs one after another, starting with “The Sky Will Remember” and following “To Leave a Single Wolf Alive“.
